OOC Information
NAME; Ally
AGE; 20!
OTHER CHARACTERS PLAYED; None
IC Information
CHARACTER NAME; Lucas
AGE; 12
CANON; MOTHER 3
CANON POINT;
FAMILY TYPES; Preferrably Jungle Troopers, Nature Spirits or Dragon's Roar.
APPEARANCE;
Lucas is, outwardly, rather unremarkable for a teenage boy. His skin is pale, and he has the thin and ungainly limbs of a growing young boy. He has a rounded face, pale blue eyes and blond hair, often fashioned into a messy cowlick; often, this is swept to the right side of his face. His clothing is relatively simple, with his usual outfit consisting of such simple garments as a simple striped T-shirt, shorts and sneakers.
PERSONALITY;
Throughout much of the beginning of his journey, Lucas is described as and shown to be a gentle, kind boy, but emotionally fragile. Other characters frequently describe him as a crybaby. Through the beginning of his adventure, this is very much true. At nine years old, he is incredibly shy and cowardly. He stutters, hides behind his mother's skirt or his brother's shoulders and finds a closer companionship in his pet dog and his older brother then any of the other children in Tazmily. Much of his early life was spent reclusively; he only really made friends with children that Claus was friends with, and he spent most of his time helping his father with their sheep, searching for mushrooms and herbs with his mother and exploring the woods around his home with his brother. Since childhood, Lucas is shown to be a very reclusive, shy young boy.
After his mother died, this worsened; not only did seeing her die at a very young age leave permanent scarring, Lucas was also permanently affected by seeing his father lash out at the other townsfolk on the same night. Devastated, he spent the entire day crying at her grave; meanwhile, his brave older brother broke their father out of jail and ventured to Drago Plateau to face the Drago who killed their mother with nothing but a knife. Lucas' grandfather publicly lectured and berated him for failing to stop Claus from leaving, effectively driving Lucas' grief over the tragedy even deeper.
The death of his mother and the following disappearance of his twin brother are two very pivotal moments in his life. In the years following, it can be seen that Lucas doesn't associate himself with the other villagers very effectively, since the disappearance of Claus. His father also closed himself off to them, and to Lucas, in an obsessive hunt for his missing son that has stretched over three years, effectively leaving Lucas to fend for himself and grieve alone for three years. In that time, it's seen that much of his contact with his son - if not all of it - is done indirectly, and passed through other villagers. Even the passing of a valued heirloom from Flint to Lucas is done through another friend of the family.
Throughout all that has happened to him, however, Lucas never loses his kind heart. His greatest desire is to grow stronger; not for himself, or to prove anything, but to help others. He remains kind, and even sympathetic towards the people responsible for the destruction of his home, up and to the very end of his journey.
